The St. Charles North High School Softball Boosters is offering a $500 scholarship in the memory of Bob Truesdell. Bob's commitment and dedication to his family, friends and volunteer organizations was enormous. He was involved with softball for many years. He served on the SCN Softball Booster board for over three years as webmaster, vice president, president and "go to person extraordinaire"! His significant contributions to the softball program are the core reasons for the creation of this scholarship. Bob demonstrated a spirit of encouragement and was an excellent role model for us all.
Applicants for this scholarship must be a high school senior graduating in the 2008-2009 Academic Year who is an active member of the SCN softball team as a player or team manager. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
Applicants must have applied to at least one 2-year or 4-year college or university, vocational school, or post high school institution. The scholarship is to be applied to tuition, books, fees or materials directly related to the student's course of study. Proof of registration and enrollment will be required before payment of the scholarship. Funds will be distributed directly to the school.
